Boston Networks

Drystone Strategy Partners provided commercial due diligence support for Aliter Capital’s (service specialists) investment in Boston Networks.

Business:                      Boston Networks

Sector:                          IT Networking (inc. Building Fire and Safety)

Investor:                       Aliter Capital LLP

Investment size:          £ not disclosed

Glasgow based Boston Networks is a leading provider of ‘Smart’ Networking, Wireless connectivity, and Fire & Security technologies. The investment will support organic and acquisitive growth across the UK.

Drystone supported the deal by providing market insight, specifically around the technology enabled convergence of fire, security and networks. Drystone also undertook a wide spectrum of client referencing, including; the commercial sector and the Scottish Government.

The project built upon Drystone’s FM and Building Services, BIM and IT, and active and passive fire protection and security market experience. These sectors have been particularly active over the last year. This was in part due to the tragic events at Grenfell tower and also due to increased cyber security fears following WannaCry. Extra impetus was provided by the explosive growth and increasingly prominent investments in IoT and Smart/ Connected Buildings/Cities.
